AHMAD RASHAD AND ESPN SHILL FOR NIKE?

ESPN'S "ALL-EXCLUSIVE WITH AHMAD RASHAD" TRIES TO PULL A FAST ONE WITH VIEWERS, SWOOSH!

Phil Mushnick, sports and media critic for the New York Post, points out the "coincidental" relationship amongst the principals in this widely hyped show. Read the entire article here.

Here's an excerpt:

"ESPN claims, "Nike had nothing to do with it."

Fine. Now judge for yourself:

There are six primary players in tonight's presentation.

Its host is Rashad, the noted Michael Jordan pal and Nike spokesman who, in addition to long being a pandering, feckless interviewer, was host of the rollout tour for Nike's Jordan brand gear and clothing.

Then there's Jordan, the namesake and chief beneficiary of the Nike/Jordan brand.

Then there's Derek Jeter, paid member of Nike/Team Jordan since 1999.

Then there's Warren Sapp, who this past May signed a three-year deal with Nike/Team Jordan.

Then there's Serena Williams, who in December signed a $55 million deal with Nike.

Finally, there's Roy Jones Jr., paid member of Nike/Team Jordan.

Gosh, what a coup for ESPN that it was somehow able to land all six of these folks in the same room at the same time for a one-hour sitdown."
