Libya condemns foreign medics to death

Liberals dismissed Gaddafi as a paper tiger when he revealed his WMD program

Recently, Libya came clean about its weapons of mass destruction. Muammar Gaddafi was motivated by the actions of President Bush and Tony Blair when they kept their word about holding Saddam Hussein accountable for abiding U.N. resolutions. When the coalition announced a political victory by announcing that Gaddafi had admitted to developing weapons of mass destruction, liberals were dismissing the news as insignificant. Liberals declared Gaddafi as a has-been terrorist, a paper tiger. Today's news concerning the fate of foreign medical workers illustrates how evil and dangerous Gaddafi can still be.

A Libyan court has sentenced five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor to death by firing squad after convicting them of deliberately infecting hundreds of Libyan children with the deadly HIV virus.

Bulgaria condemned the "unfair and absurd" verdicts announced by court officials on Thursday and called for a strong reaction from its Western partners -- the European Union, NATO and the United States.

In 2001 Gaddafi said the children were infected as part of an experiment ordered by the U.S. or Israeli secret services.
