BREAKING NEWS: USA HAS TRANSFERRED POWER OVER IRAQ (AND BLOGGERS BEAT SOME NETWORKS TO THE PUNCH) 

ACCORDING TO WCBS RADIO 880 NEW YORK, DAN RATHER REPORTS THAT USA HAS ALREADY TRANSFERRED SOVEREIGNTY TO THE INTERIM IRAQI GOVERNMENT (just happened about 10 mins ago, nothing yet on CBSNews.com)

Update: FOX NEWS REPORTS The top U.S. administrator in Iraq handed full sovereignty to the new interim Iraqi government on Monday, two days before the June 30 deadline, Fox News has confirmed. Ambassador L. Paul Bremer signed the legal paper in the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi on Monday and presented it to the chief justice of Iraq, Midhat Al-Mahmoud.

Update: 3:17 a.m.(EDT) CNN.com still has not reported transfer of power, only "Handover of sovereignty in Iraq will take place Monday, two days before the June 30 deadline previously announced, diplomatic sources tell CNN. Details soon."
