The latest update on the Hatch daughers ill-fated trip to Chicago's nightclub, Crobar
(Mike Hatch with daughters, Anne and Elizabeth; 1998)
One of [Minnesota] Attorney General Mike Hatch's daughters who faces charges in an altercation with police in Chicago was arrested nearly three years ago after she tried to use an older sister's identification to buy beer. Anne Hatch, then 18, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor public nuisance, and paid a $100 fine and $250 restitution for a broken sign, according to a police report. Hai Ha, the owner of Diamond Jim's Liquor in Lilydale, recalled the June 4, 2001 incident involving Anne Hatch. He said she pushed him several times, used profanity and broke a neon beer sign while trying to get away after he took the identification she showed him.
