NO EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE: JOHN KERRY SECOND GUESSES HOW BUSH HANDLED 9/11 NEWS

Credit goes to The American Way for pointing this out...

This is how John Kerry described to Larry King what he experienced on 9/11

I was in the Capitol. We'd just had a meeting -- we'd just come into a leadership meeting in Tom Daschle's office, looking out at the Capitol. And as I came in, Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon. And then word came from the White House, they were evacuating, and we were to evacuate, and so we immediately began the evacuation.

Further inspection of the Larry King Live transcript reveals something else. John Kerry's own version of the events shows that he didn't even realize what was really going on until AFTER he evacuated the Capitol, an hour after the World Trade Center attacks...
And as we went out of the building, my immediately feeling was, we're at war. I mean, that was the sense, that we are under attack. People are attacking the United States of America and we needed to respond.">And as we went out of the building, my immediately feeling was, we're at war. Kerry pans president for staying with tots on 9/11
Sen. John Kerry yesterday said he wouldn't have stuck around to read to children after learning of the September 11 attacks, directly criticizing President Bush's actions that day.

John Kerry has been a senator in Washington for more 20 years. He has not had to make snap jugments. As a legislator, he's been afforded the luxury to contemplate, debate and consider both sides of an issue or an argument. His lack of executive experience is a hole in his resume. In times of crisis, Kerry will not have the ability to watch television and say, "nobody could think."

What is regrettable is how Kerry has attacked President Bush's handling of the news that the World Trade Center was attacked. Bush stayed in a room for only 7 minutes with a roomful of schoolchildren. Kerry sat in the confines of a Senate office with fellow senators and watched events unfold on television for almost one hour.
