NEVER A DAY OFF FROM POLITICS FOR THE CLINTONS AS THEY CAMPAIGN AT NEW YORK STATE FAIR

OLD HABITS DIE HARD FOR BILL CLINTON: FAST FOOD AND PRESSING THE FLESH
>
Yahoo News:President Bill Clinton posed with members of the Gianelli Sausage and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que concession stand during a visit with his wife Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton at the New York State Fair on Friday September 2, 2005. L-R: Molly Scullin and her sister Katie-Sue Scullin of Liverpool, NY, Evan Wojtaszek also of Liverpool, NY, (Clinton), Nicole Cilani of Solvay, NY and Amy Marascalchi of Syracuse, NY.

Not even a national disaster could deter Hillary and even Bill Clinton from campaigning at the New York State Fair. Let the good times roll as Hillary enjoys a double digit lead in the polls for a Senate seat that she doesn't even want.

While at the New York State Fair, Hillary was noncommital about anything and everything regarding Hurricane Katrina's devastation and the aftermath. She refused to speak about the suffering of those in New Orleans saying only, "There will be time in the weeks ahead to take stock of what happened, what didn't happen, what should have happened."

The only thing that Hillary felt compelled to speak about was the other day when she urged President Bush to prevent the price gouging of oil.

My humble but fearless prediction: Hillary will (because of Bill's counsel) will wait and see which way the political winds are headed regarding the hurricane recovergy and will choose a path best suited for her aspirations.
