Remember when the mainstream media predicted, last year, that this winter would be tough on the economy because of higher gas prices?
Falling gas prices helped stem a rise in wholesale inflation around the country in January, government figures released today showed. Gas prices have dropped below $2 a gallon in some spots around the country, although analysts warn the downward trend probably will not last.
Don't worry. Soon we'll be hearing of how prices should rise in the summer thus creating more fears for the economy.
